Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. Regains Compliance with NYSE Continued Listing Standards
Beijing, May 10, 2022 -- Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. (“Xinyuan” or the “Company”) (NYSE: XIN), an NYSE-listed real estate developer operating primarily
in China and also in other countries, today announced that it has received a letter from the New York Stock Exchange (the “NYSE”) dated May 2, 2022, notifying that the Company has regained compliance with the NYSE’s continued listing standard with
respect to the minimum share price.
On December 14, 2021, the Company was notified by the NYSE of its noncompliance with the NYSE’s continued listing standards because the average closing
price of its American depositary shares had fallen below $1.00 over a period of 30 consecutive trading days. In its letter dated May 2, 2022, the NSYE confirmed that a calculation of the Company’s average stock price from the 30-trading days ended
April 29, 2022 has been above the NYSE's minimum requirement of $1.00 based on a 30-trading day average. As a result, the Company is no longer considered below the $1.00 continued listing criterion on this matter.
